MEET YOUR TRAINER

Hi, my name is Sara, I’m the owner and trainer behind Mama Bear fit, as well as a blessed mom of three children. My journey of health and fitness started in my teens, I struggled with anxiety (I didn't know it at the time) and quickly realized that when I exercised I felt happier. I started my journey with at home workout videos and outdoor activities and realized my fitness regime helped my mental health so drastically that I knew I wanted to be able to help others with health and fitness. I went to college in 2015 and received a personal training diploma with a goal to not just help people with their aesthetic appearance but to also help them view exercise as a positive part of their life. At that point in my fitness journey I found strength training, not only did I become stronger and healthier but my confidence grew and suddenly I wasnt so shy and uncomfortable in social situations. After 6 years of personal training, and 2 children I realised there was not only a huge lack of prenatal, postnatal, and women's specific training in the community but also a lot of misguidance. With this realization Mama Bear Fit was created with a goal to provide a service where women can focus on their own health and wellness, well implementing my coaching methodology to ensure the women of our community are getting the service and care that they deserve.
